SurePeople was my first opportunity to dive into the start-up world. It was a fantastic ride that resulted in an amazing experience in business hustle and grit. As the first employee, I built the team from scratch and we created an impactful software platform to develop stronger workplace cultures.

I joined a Chicago-based start up as the first employee to create a new digital solution to improve company cultures through enhancing an employee’s emotional intelligence. SurePeople set out to build a SaaS platform that would help their employees understand their strengths and weaknesses and prescribe personalized learning curriculum to create extraordinary companies.

CUSTOMER JOURNEY
The customer journey consisted of Learning Leader, Manager and Employees. Typically, the Learning Leader would be the economic buyer and admin. They would be in charge of introducing the platform into the organization. They would invite Managers and their employees to participate in the program which would involve the initiation of the entire SurePeople ecosystem to start. This would involve several interactions with people data, community engagement and training content.
The leadership training and learning development industry tools were old and dated. We wanted to position SurePeople as a fresh new spin to the market.
Discovery & Research
One size does not fit all. SurePeople had a proprietary tool that unveiled your strengths and weaknesses like no other assessment on the market.
Build an integrated ecosystem of learning to tailor learning plans into one platform to meet the needs of their employees.
Results
We were able to build a compelling and personalized technology platform to help disrupt the market. We also created a brand that showcased quality and inspiration to an industry that needed a refreshing facelift.

Educate customers through comparison tools to help them select the right products and build awareness for additional options.
NOVICE VS. EXPERT FLOWS
Creating two different approaches for novice vs. expert users was a key innovation. The team created a wizard-like approach to education as well as a faceted navigation for expert buyers.
SERVICE DESIGN BLUEPRINT
Orchestrating the brand experience across an entire Year One journey proved to be an effective way to help learning leaders phase out their goals and critical touchpoints with their organizations.
LEARNING MODULES
Produced over 400 unique learning lessons directly correlated to an individual’s strength and weaknesses with video content.

Enabled companies to upload their learning curriculum into our platform to increase engagement and track their activities.
